Lukoil, KMG to set up consortium for license for Caspian field
ALMATY, Jun 5 (PRIME) -- Russia’s oil company Lukoil and Kazakhstan’s national oil company Kazmunaigaz (KMG) plan to set up a consortium to obtain a license for the Zhenis block in the Caspian Sea, Kazakhstan’s Energy Ministry said on Tuesday.
In April, the ministry said that the companies were discussing the form of cooperation to develop the Zhenis and the ²-Ð-2 offshore fields.
